So, after an extremely incredible fun-packed six and a half months-tomorrow we fly home!! We both hate it but excited all in one, extreme mixed emotions. After doing and seeing so many things most people would never get the chance too, it's all come to a sudden end and what better way to say 'cheers to the trip' than booking in to a locals Argentine steak house for a last supper. We enjoyed a lovely rib-eye steak and mash meal with a glass of white wine and try and get our heads around the thought of returning home.
We have had the most amazing experience and we feel incredibly lucky to have had the chance to do all the things we have done. Other than allowing a bit more time we wouldn't change one thing. Being two of the world's most indecisive people going we are feeling accomplished and proud that we managed to pull this whole trip off without much bother along the way. We have made so many memories and ticked a fair few bucket list boxes, from Paul (and me) riding Whistler to conquering the long vertical hikes of the Inca Trail, we feel beyond privileged.
Thank you to all our family and friends that have helped us with organizing our once in a life time trip and to you who have stayed in contact with us along the way.
I also need to say a massive thank-you to my Dad for giving me the opportunity and push to get out and do this trip, from a hope to a reality, I have travelled the trip of a lifetime and I feel the luckiest girl alive. Thank you Dad.
Adios fellow followers! Till next time ;) xxx
