We're up nice and early and catch the contiki bus to the red Smithsonian castle in DC. We stop for an hour or so at the grave site where we see JFKs resting place and also the changing of the guard at the tomb if the unknown soldiers. As soon as we get off the bus we head to the Natural history museum. It's closed. So we give up on the Museums and decide to go and see the Bill of rights and the Constitution, and thats enough culture for us! We head for something to eat and end up having steak eggs benedict at the district Chop house, its absolutely beautiful and so big that we just split one between the two of us. We then Went to see Jackass 3D with Matt and Carly. Much laughter and retching ensues but everyone enjoys it. We hurry over to meet the bus at 5pm at the the red Smithsonian castle. Randy (our coach driver) is late, for the first time ever because the traffic was terrible. We get back late and with only 1/2hr get ready for our last official Contkiki dinner. Again traffic is terrible so we rock up to Irelands 4 corners about an hour late. Never mind. A pint of Harp and a Shepherd's pie later and we're good and ready to move onto the club with the whole (all 44) contiki gang and our beloved rep Camille. I ended with 3 beers at all times in the Bar/Club, to the point where i had to tell the barman that i got given a warm beer at the downstairs bar so i could exchange it for a cold one (i can't drink warm beer). i had some jacks and a few shots too. So no doubt i'll have a hangover in the moring! We have a Brilliant night though and head home about 3:30am! Tomorrow we have a big day!
