Not much happened today as we had to Travel from our motel, Beverly Laurel to our tour hotel, The Kyoto in downtown LA, Little Tokyo. We got ripped off by an old russian cab driver who charged us $40 for what should have been a $28 ride. But cabs seem to be expensive in LA anyway so we prob didn't do too bad. The new hotel is pretty grand and all done up in an oriental style. It also has a nice Japanese garden. So we get checked in and then go have a wee explore of the hotel and the gardens. Then we go next door to the Starbucks for some coffe, food and free wifi. After this we go to our Contiki meeting where we fill in forms and meet our tour manager, the lovely Camille, and then have a few drinks with some guys off the tour. We're leaving at 7:30am so we head to bed about 11.30.
