Trailor on Tour
Hi there again everyone from the land of the big sky! For those of you who have never been to the prairies, it is so flat here that the sky looks enormous.
At tea time on Saturday, after Lukas had been to a birthday party, Jen and I drove with him to Yorkton to stay with Shirley and Mel for a few days, while Jon remained in Winnipeg working.
Needless to say that my Canada trip has continued in much the same vein and eating seems to be taking up quite a large percentage of my time. Dinner on Saturday comprised a huge T-bone steak cooked to perfection on the BBQ and tonight it was roast beef shared with Phil and Sharon, friends who came to visit. In between there has been plenty of coffee from Tim Horton's - the coffee and donut place that seems to have taken the lion's share of business away from Robin's Donuts, my old favourite.
The weather today was really cold and it probably didn't help that my feet are so used to flip-flops that anything else causes blisters and therefore they were a tad icy! It didn't actually snow, but certainly was threatening it.
Anyway, I'm off to bed now to read my Pol Pot biography and try not to give myself nightmares. S xx
