Yesterday was spent in Okotoks, more precisely in Starbucks and Wal-Mart - shiny things in shiny shops, it's amazing the things you miss. Purchased salad cream, shampoo, conditioner (makes a change from washing hair using shower gel or soap!) and diet coke. In the evening I met Paul (Michelle's husband) as he works nights and after dinner - casserole with mashed potatoes and green vegetables, oh and Saskatoonberry pie, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm - we went and sat in the spa tub. There is a CD player and speakers incorporated into the tub and we watched the sun set over the Rockies, lovely. Today we drove into Calgary and had lunch at New York Fries and wandered round the shopping centre, before heading back for dinner and for me to pack, ready for Paul to drive me to the airport on his way to work. Mum, just to let you know that Michelle looked after me really well - fed me proper food, let me use the laundry, gave me fluffy towels to use in the clean bathroom and has let me leave some stuff there whilst I'm away.
