Once the loop of Mr Marleys greatest hits started to wear thin we moved onto the quiet town of Phang Nga.This was a town in spectacular surroundings with mountains running either side of the town and tourists were rare here.After a day of exploring the town we booked up for a boat trip around the national park areas (all of the coastal parts) including a visit to James Bond Island, which was the centre point in 'the man with the golden gun'

The trip was okay, mainly because the German couple , Jan & Julia, with us were both good fun and the skipper taking us wasn't the full deck!As you can see from the pic's , a storm was heading our way so he pulled us up to a sand bank in the middle of the bay. He then left us in the boat alone waving goodbye (& we werent really confident he would be back!) while we sat watching him elbow deep in shi…sludge pulling weird lobster type creatures up and putting them in the boat for us to see wriggling about….er, thanks mate!
