We were given the option of getting up to be on a bus at 7am if we wanted to go to the other awards ceremony. The majority of us decided to have a bit of a sleep in instead, and we were given a ride into the Old Town a little later on. Lisa and told Cosette about a market thing that was going on near the University where we were dropped off.
It was such a lovely morning and we didn't really feel like going back to wander around the shops in old town again, so Cosette, Sophia, Johanna, Veronika, and I wandered off towards the market. And when we found it, we were amazed because it was HUGE. It filled up an entire large park. There were stalls everywhere selling all sorts of different goods. We wandered a bit through the first part of the market, but by then, Johanna had seen some things she wanted to get, but needed to go to the bank to get some cash.
The two of us walked pretty far down, all the way to the shopping centre we'd gotten groceries at the other night before heading back. There were a lot of wool sweaters and things that were just beautiful. There were some gorgeous hand painted silk scarves that I liked, but were really expensive. I bought some interesting honey and a bottle of beer to taste. I also picked up a candy cone for cheap that was really tasty.
From there we decided to head off to get a proper lunch at a coffee shop nearby. Mostly, we just wanted a bit of wifi and a place to sit. I got a kiwi yogurt and a pear and mint frappe.
