Booked a boat tour. Tour got cancelled due to thunder storm. Ended up just exploring the many shops around Fira. Had a lovely lunch at a cafe where at the end the waiter toasted us with some complimentay Oozo.

For dinner we (Ron, Penny and ourselves) caught a cab to Oia to see if we could catch the sunset again. No luck unfortunately as it started to rain so it was too cloudy to see.

We did some shopping and got a few photos up the top before deciding to walk down the nearly 300 stairs straight down to the bottom of Oia to see if we could get ourselves a good sea dinner. These stairs were put in the side of the cliff over 100 years ago and at some points were a little scary especially in fading light but we all made it to the bottom in one piece and had a fabulous dinner right next to the ocean.

The place we ate at is owned by a family who work here during the Summer months and then close up and head to Athens to send their kids to school in the winter months. The family was very friendly and at the end of the meal gave us some complimentary Vinsanto (a local dessert wine which we brought 2 bottles of the day before).
