Time to move on, very cold start but great cycle path from Kranjska Gora (disused railway line). We had read there is a cycle path all the way to Bled. More accurately is there is a 'cycle route' all the way to Bled. Half way the cycle path ends and the rest is signed on quiet roads and then the signs seemed to end and it was the main road. Very little traffic though as the nearby motorway runs in the same direction. Then the main road was signed 'no cycles'! There wasn't a quick way round and we only have an afternoon to visit Bled so we ignored the signs and ran the gaunlet of being spotted by the police!! The road was quiet enough and flat so we put Titty in the big ring to get onto a cycle legal road as quickly as possible!! Arrived in Bled for lunch, the sun came out and we managed to check in to our digs early and go off and be tourists. We had a row on Bled lake and a walk up to the castle. Even though it's November there are still a lot of tourists here, we haven't heard this many English voices for quite a while.
