Well Hello ! Finally prized the netbook off Hubby and allowed to blog.

Anyone following Tony on Strava will see that all we seem to be doing is going up - and on Friday we did a 14 mile up - phew !

Then missed a turn off a dual carriageway into Zilina - so we got off and Tony steered Titty backwards (yep towards the oncoming traffic) and the wrong way off the slip road - sometimes at a scarey angle much to the annoyance of the Slovakian lorry drivers.

And onto food (one of my favourite things while cycling) - but not here !! We have watery orange squash, mashed up omelette (scrambled eggs), salad and chocolate yoghurt - yes all served for breakfast, Accompanied by peppery / garlicky bread - yack - not in a morning ! We need to thank good old pizza and burgers for giving us the energy to pedal most days !

We did hear a familiar language (for the first time) in a hotel the other day - an older couple from Ireland who teach English in the schools several times a year. They were celebrating a wedding anniversary the following day at the same hotel - not sure it would be somewhere I would choose !

And then we get to our hotel in Ruzomberok and our hotel room door is leather and studded - fifty shades of grey moment or what ! But the hotel has a fab indoor pool - a welcome relax from pedalling :-).
