They cook a lot of cabbage in the Czech republic but a worse smell than that is my cycle shoes. Donna's don't smell sweet but mine are shocking, We bought a deodorant to spray them a few weeks ago then we bought some shoe odour powder, tomorrow the insoles are coming out for a scrub as they still smell like cat wee! My cycle shorts aren't to good either some days, well you can't wash them everyday. When we freewheel to rest our bums i stand up on my pedals so my bum is directly in front of Donna's face if she stays sitting - she complains about my sweaty shorts and other odours that comes from that part of my body!! Changing the subject the route out of Prague didn't go well, we kept diverting to avoid motorway like dual carriageways and flyovers, then we were being chased uphill by a tram, we had to bail out as soon as there was somewhere to pull in. First two days out of Prague we used main roads, not bad on Saturday but Sunday was shocking - so much traffic (buses and lorries galore). It appears Monday not Sunday is when things are closed here. Today we opted for quieter roads - bigger climbs but more inspiring then the previous two days that were as dull as ditchwater. Fortunately at Kutna Hora and Litomysl there was actually something worth seeing at the end of each ride.. Looking forward to a day off soon to rest our legs and clean Titty the tandem who is filthfy thanks to some of the foul weather we have had recently. Donna put the shower on in Kutna hora, besides the shower head it had jets built into the wall, they sprayed out horizontally across the bathroom taking Donna by suprise in her hasty reaction to this she pulled the glass shower door of it's rails and shouted for help!! By the time i got there she had turned the water off and was struggling not to drop the shower door, I fixed it back into place easy enough but struggled to find out what had actually happened as Donna couldn't stop laughing, Thank goodness we had a bath the next night at Litomysl!
