We entered Czech republic on a silky smooth cycle path then that changed to a dirt track bouncing us to pieces, then there was a flight of steps which we had to unload Titty to get up, then there was steps down the other side, that was followed by an underpass with steps and two 90 degree turns. At one point we ditched the cycle route and took to the road, firstly we were in danger of being squashed by the convoy of lorries then when we cut through a village centre the cobbles were so vicious we had to walk. Then there was an absence of route signs and we found ourselves wandering aimlessly. The next challenge was translating menus, fortunately we managed to find English versions but even that left us bewildered on some of the dishes. Historical Bohemian architechture is very pleasing to the eye but it rubs shoulders with Eastern Bloc monstrosities! Not all bad the beers very cheap.
