When we arrived at Manning park the sun was shining and it was so warm, we should have made the most of it but we needed time to check out the camper a touch more. At last we withdrew enough cash out to pay for the truck camper. Friday 1st June, we headed off to West Vancouver, we handed the money over. Then Headed to the BCAA office (British Colombia Automobile Association) with Rene (the seller) and in one foul swoop the vehicle ownership was transferred, re-registered, new license plates issued (that's how they do it here), insurance and breakdown cover taken out. We always had the problem of when we were going to head to North America, if we spent too long in South America (and possibly central America) then we would miss the Canadian summer and it would be a long wait for the winter to pass.
