Because I got a bit carried away on Koh Tao, I didn't have much time on Koh Phi Phi and I'm gutted I didn't get a chance to go to the view :( so I'm going to nick your photo Sarah Brown :)

Other than missing the view point, I didn't mind leave Phi Phi early as it was very much a party scene. It felt like a Spanish island!! We spent most of the night in a bar that had a boxing ring and watched a load of drunk guys try to Thai kick box, it was quite funny their inabilities and then how one of two friends would switch and get seriously competitive. It was quite dangerous the knock they got to the head and then the alcohol they got poured down their necks afterwards. The incentive to volunteer was a bucket of alcohol of their choice!!

There was a proper fight later in the night. Two Thai kick boxers showed everyone how its really done... It was insane. The knocks they took and the kicks they would deliver to each others heads... I went back to the bar a little later to quickly use the wifi and I saw the winning with his head resting in ice on the table and not moving!!

After the bar we went to check out the beach... Which was full of different music pumping out from different clubs and each club had some kind of fire show or ring or limbo for the drunk tourists to tackle!! When one guy tried to cartwheel through the ring and crashed straight into the side and all the flames, I suppose it wasn't far for him to run into the sea to cool off!!

The next morning we chilled on the beach while I was waiting for my boat, and it was funny spotting the people we'd seen the night before, the hungover and delicate, and the 'boxers' with some kind of limp or black eye or holding their ribs. Pretty much the whole island was feeling sorry for itself.

So I moved onto Phuket :)
