Today I started the day with a Jet Boat ride at the Huka Falls. It was a quick thrill with the 360 degree spins and the stupid driver going to close to the trees and walls and quickly turning away :-S I think I was sat in the wrong seat, outside at the front!! We started the morning with a nice walk around the Redwood Forest in Taupo. These trees are huge, with their thick red straight trunks and no branches until the top, where the forest is covered by a canopy of all there leaves. We then drove to the Hooker falls, which is nicknamed after Hooker apparently killed her boyfriend in an argument, put him in the boot of her car and drove to the bridge on these falls and threw his body over.
