Every view looked like a postcard picture, such a picturesque background everywhere. The Rainbows coming through the waterfalls and the seals sunbathing on the rocks. A long bus journey but some good pictures and mirroring fresh water streams on the way to the boat around the sound.

Queenstown was sooo good! Such a querky little town, or city, on a lake. When we were leaving the storm had caused a landslide on the only road through to Wanaka, so we spent a night in a hotel near the landslide hoping they would clear it by the next day. Unfortunately, it kept sliding and we had to take a 15hr detour to get to Queenstown, through Arthur's Pass!!
