Queenstown was sooo good! Such a querky little town, or city, on a lake. It had a really good feel about it, a bit like a ski resort :)
The first day I was up early and ready for my Bungee Jump. 43m High over a river, it was the most horrible feeling in the world, that initial second when you leave the platform, or in my case pushed off of the platform. For some strange reason I felt more comfortable falling once I was upside down, maybe I'd figured that there was no way out then so enjoy :) I am proud of myself, but I have no intention to ever go any higher :P
In the afternoon we went for the Canyon Swing. I apologise for the video but it was crazy, and after being suspended over a 200m drop upside down and being dropped, I was a little disoriented :P but the view and the swing was pretty amazing!! This I would do again!
The next day we went skiing which is always great fun. Apparently it was -5 degrees, who would've thought New Zealand can get that cold!!
On our last day there, I went on a day trip to Milford Sounds. The drive was very nice and finally I got to see a snow topped mountain range reflect on a river :) The boat ride was very good though, it was like we were sailing through postcard pictures :) and we saw a few Seals bobbing along and sun bathing :)
And of course in Queenstown I had the famous Ferg Burger, I've been told about this by travellers all around the world, as soon as they knew I was heading to New Zealand, ok ok, maybe I had two ;)
