June 17: Day 43:
Today was a rest day at the McGowans campground and did nothing until afternoon was starting to dawn upon us. Dad thought that while mum was having a lie down we can go see some WWII plane wreckages. The crash sight was on the outskirts of Kulumburu which was a 30 minute drive from our campground. We arrived to find that a big bomber plane was what had crashed, and the wings had broken off and were found a few metres away. Cam asked whether or not the plane had guns and dad went around the plane trying to find a spot for were a gunman could’ve sat. We found the propellor engines lying over near where the wings were and they were massive. They looked like a cars engine and there were three of them two for the wings and one for the front. There was nothing more then that so we went back to our campground with Cam asking if we could search for Hermet Crabs. We were aloud to and another bonus was it was on the beach at sunset. It was a really pretty view and we caught quite a few hermet crabs.
