Recovered from hangover with egg amd bacon sarnie with chilli sauce (as instructed by the Kiwis) with eggs and toast!

Chocolate and coke was the treat as we chilled on a misty, and later, rainy beach for the day. Had to walk through a couple of rivers on the way following cows but found a nice spot where a local woman sold us some cheap bracelets (we were in a hangin mood and felt like buying). Played some pool and ate some food at another bacpackers for achange of scenery. Was a nice place but no travellers ther despite great views and services available!

As seen as it was Mike's birthday he wanted to do a Port Challenge (drinking a bottle each to ourselves) but we had to settle with some dodgy drink called Multana as a replacement. At first drop, it was nice like Sloe Gin. Would make a great apperitif! But a whole bottle, hungover, was disgusting and evidently so after the four hours we took to finish it!

Played a lot of pool, smashing some locals, eating some free beef stew, watching some guys play guitar and chilling until late.

Oh, I witnessed a woman tread in cows***. It squelched inbetween her sandals but instead of wiping or washing it on grass or in nearby river, she simply carried on despite it becoming more embedded into her feet and sole. Beautiful.
