We left Jaipur early and left for Rhanthambore! The four hour journey in the taxis was not appreciated since the roads seemed only suitable for off road vehicles, plus we seemed to be travelling to somewhere in the middle of nowhere, so there was little to gaze at.
We eventually arrived in Bundhi battered and bruised, however on arrival we were welcomed with a standard Bindi (third eye (dot on your forehead)) this perked us up a bit, along with the thought we could soon be staring at a tiger!! Rhanthanbore was home to a national park, which is actually where Russel Brand and Katy Perry got married, oh and where some tigers were being protected. First on the agenda was taking an open top jeep bus to a fort within the park. This was on top of a hill in the centre of the reserve, so we were hoping to see a tiger on the way there. We didn't unfortunately... However we did spot Russel and Katy's wedding place from the fort. The views and history were amazing. I even got to feed a monkey!!
Nothing much else happened after this and we got to relax at the hotel round the pool.
Funnily enough we had another early start, 5.30!!! This was so we had the chance to see some tigers! Let's hope that getting up would be worth it.
