When we arrived back in Hanoi on Tuesday morning we just had time to change before jumping on the bus to Ha Long Bay. On the cruise there was only me, Cath and an American girl, Jose on a 20 berth boat with 13 crew!! It was pure luxury! The food on the boat was amazing, loads of fresh seafood fruit. We just chilled on the boat, which was nice after the 3 day trek. On the first day we sunbathed on the top deck and then had a walk round a huge cav with loads of cool rock formations and staligmites and staligtites.

Also went to a beach were they said we could swim, but the water was definitely not a nice clear blue, so we decided not to from the beach, but we did have a swim from the boat when we were further away from the pollution!

The scenery round HaLong Bay was spectacular, but the dirty water let it down.
