Hello from Koh Samui, We are enjoying our time in Koh Samui, but finding it to be very touristy; full of Thai women gyrating on bars to tacky techno music/ middle aged men with beer bellies buying the company of Thai ladies/ lairy Brits everywhere you turn. Hello all, We have enjoyed our two nights in Koh Toa; a place renowned for it's beautiful beaches and diving opportunities. Yesterday we went on a boat trip around the Island and went snorkelling in an area known to attract sharks and turtles. Unfortunately (?) we didn't manage to see any of the above, but we swam alongside millions of tropical fish. Hi to all, Today we leave the beautiful Island of Ko Phan Ngan and head to Ko Tao by boat. The full moon party was excellent! We headed down to Hat Rin (Where the party was staged) around 10pm, and the streets were lined with vendors selling buckets of whisky with Red Bull and coke, and lots of other lethal concoctions. Today was the first of many lazy days by the beach. these days go very fast; one minute you're reading a book on the hammock, the next you wake up and it is time to eat. Last night we visited the port town of Thong sala and was tempted to watch the Thai-boxing fights, but we are holding out for the big dogs in one of the Bangkok stadiums! All from, for now Dean ;)
