I have just eaten a grasshopper. omg!... and a maggot... On the bonus side the vendor guy did add salt and vinegar. It started out as a dare. we were out with London Dan, who we managed to catch up with since he was in the area. anyways, we'd all drank a lot of alcohol. We'd all inhaled a lot of helium (balloons). And so started to play our own game of the bush tucker trial. Afraid we all chickened out of eating beatles or cockroaches, but we did manage to capture some interesting photographs! Yesterday was the last day of the Song Kran, so Dean and I armed ourselves with huge water pistols and headed off into Ko Sang Road. It was myhem! I think the Thai people must've believed we needed extra cleaning cos they seemed to take great pleasure in soaking us. My acts of screaming and running away only seemed to excite them more, and we ended up being chased through the streeets by hundreds of armed Thai's. My clothes are still drying off. Today we headed to the weekend market. everything here seems so cheap! I bought a bra for 80p and Dean bought some Diesel flip flog thingeys for about 3 pounds. I love bargins! Anyways, been on the one pound cocktails tonight so best be off to bed. we are off to temples and palaces tomorrow: will add photos soon claire x
