So I'm new to the whole blog writing thing.... Haven't got a clue how to start or what to say except....
Heya! Welcome to my first blog, written from the exciting exotic place of aldershot! Wow I can feel how jealous you all are now right now!
So as you all probably know I'm due to start a new job on the cruise ships working in the retail section... I can't wait!!!
If you know me really well you know that this has long been an ambition of mine, to travel the world and now I'm finally going to be able to do it. I had the chance before, many years ago, and I foolishly turned it down. I don't entirely regret doing that because I'm a firm believer in fate and everything happens for a reason. And now! To get this chance for a second time, it's unbelievable!!! I would be stupid to turn this down a second time!
So now I'm just getting myself sorted ready for the leap! I'm decluttering my stuff, selling off things I don't need. I've got my Australian visa and now waiting for my American visa to get approved.
It's strange, its barely sinking in. I'm going to be leaving soon, not just moving from the north to the south, but moving around the world via northern Europe, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean....
Of course I'm going to miss everyone so much. I miss my family loads already and I'm only a few hours away... I miss my friends from the north especially as some of them are like my family. And, I've made some amazing friends down here, again many are like a second family to me. It's not going to be easy, but I need to do this. I've got to do this, I don't want to wonder "what if?" in a few years.
Everyone has been so supportive, well almost everyone, but it's still so touching to know people are happy for me.
Anyway, enough mindless ramblings of my scary mind. You will have to get used to that :-p
I'll probably write one or two more of these before I actually embark just to get used to it and let you know how I'm feeling.
