It's been so long I know but I've been so busy!!!
Happy Christmas and new year to all! Hope you had a great time!
I am loving it on the ship, I've been to so many countries I can't even count how many. I'm currently sat in a restaurant in Madeira enjoying the local steak on a stone... It is beautiful!!!
I'm so tired though... Burning the candle at both ends as usual.... But you can't help it. Working so hard and partying even harder!
Everyone is great on the ship, I've not come across anyone I don't like yet.... But it's only been 7 weeks...
I've made some great friends already... It's just a shame that all our contracts are different so as soon as you make friends you have to say goodbye to them... Luckily some of them come back before I leave... Whenever that may be... I had all intentions of staying til may but looking at the cruises after may there are some great cruises comig up so I may extend til June/ July time....
Somehow I've lost 3 kilos, don't know how as I've drank so much!!!! But ya all good!!!
Some of the cruises have been tough but now it's time to relax as we have soapy port days an overnights.... Overnights are amazing!!! Clubbing in different cities! Mainly Tenerife now as we will be based there til march.
I may complain about my hours but I have it so easy compared to some other people... Especially the Filipino workers... These people work all hours god send for little money... They all have partners and children back home and work hard to support them for 9 months at a time! I have so much respect for them... And they are so lovely and friendly... They will go out of their way to help you, even if it alot of trouble... It makes you appreciate alot of things...
Anyway enough of that philosophical stuff.... I am currently full to the brim of the steak and now I need to sleep!!!!
