We parked exactly where she said and it was a short walk along a clean sandy beach to where the Boulders lay mysteriously. Google search Moeraki Boulders for more details - it's really interesting to discover the details aroubd tge formation of these almost unbelievable boulders and the area is a beautiful sight. Back in the car to Dunedin- a lovely descent into the city which was easily navigated so we parked up for a quick look at this 'Edinburgh of the South' as it is known and modelled on the Scottish city. A lively place with many students enjoying the city centre's bars and cafés. A short drive away was the house we were staying in for 2 nights- booked through Airbnb. Rob's place was a fabulous house overlooking the Otago Harbour and Dunedin. Rob was a nice guy- an engineering geologist who was great company and really made us very welcome as his house guests. We went out briefly for a quick snack and returned to spend the evening chatting with Rob and relaxing in his lovely home. Jimmy said he could easily live in the house- I could see why.
