The train was not until 4.22pm so we stayed in bed until check out, but that was still only 10am.
We spent most of the day just wandering around the town, restaurant hopping and chilling in the sun in the main square.
With time still to kill I opted for another massage while Stevie got a pedicure. My massage was nice but not as good as Erica's one she gave me yesterday. Erica ended up doing Stevie's feet.
I think the ladies should have swapped because after my hour massage Stevie was still having her pedicure done. Apparently Erica made Stevie bleed by getting over enthusiastic pulling out her cuticles and then struggled painting her nails.
Overrunning we quickly collected our bags from the hostel before heading to the station to catch our train for the 57mile journey back to Cusco. The train was a little more expensive on the way back as the only train running was the semi-luxury one. On first impressions the only difference was that the seats are leather instead of fabric and the floor has fake wood vinyl instead of carpet. How we were wrong! The food was pasta and cake instead of biscuits and best of all was the onboard entertainment. We were treated to a fashion show and some weird peruvian jester that looked more like a colourful Rumpelstiltskin, danced up and down the aisle, it was freaky. Back at Cusco we headed straight to the main bus terminal where we met up with Ray for our 10hr drive to Bolivia.
