12th July Another relaxing morning, I have been trying to upload our photos to a memory pen as we have filled up the SD card and due to Stevie previously throwing camera in the lake incident we don't have as much spare space! This morning we had the house to ourself so I decided to play with the dogs in the garden, Which consisted of me running to the entrance garden and getting them all to chase me. After a while I had to recorded it....so funny! the best dogs...

We spent the morning at the house in El Retiro catching up on washing, blog writing and having a lay-in. Trying to get some energy back from our nomad lives. While Andreas and Laura were at college. Around midday we headed back to Medellin with Laura's mum to meet Laura and have some lunch. We had lunch at crepes and waffles a place with the three b's bueno bonito y barato which means good beautiful and cheap. It was not wrong. The food, dessert and milkshake ...

Andreas and Laura kindly took the day off to spend with us... We had breakfast in a near by restaurant, where we had a traditional Columbian breakfast. We had Arepas with egg and tomatoes. Andreas also let us try the rice and beans he ordered. The Columbian Arepa is better then the Venezuelan. We also tried Empanadas filled with meat and potato similar to our Cornish pasty which was really nice. Food in our belly we headed off to El Peñol, a small town flooded...

Waking up early again. Can never sleep past 7.00am, another amazing shower we had breakfast together swapped details with Aileen and Kerrie before venturing off to see Andreas. We had the worst seats on the night bus....that didn't recline and were directly in front of the toilets that smelt. Not just bad, but the kind of smell that constantly yanked at you gag reflex muscle with every breath. Trying to sleep was difficult as the bus broke harshly every 10 minutes!!
