Well today is our last day in the United States of America and this afternoon we take the Amtrak train to Toronto and on Wednesday fly out to the UK.

Our 4 months here have been wonderful and we will be sorry to leave but we will take with us the memories of the amazing things we have seen and the different people we have met. We have travelled 9,300 miles on our very reliable 1200RT with no break-downs and no punctures and we were quite sad to see it go when we sold it earlier this week.

Whilst staying with Dennis and Cookie this last week we have been able to tie off lots of loose ends and make arrangements for the next leg and, for that, we are extremely grateful. For a last look around, yesterday Dennis and Cookie took us to Highland Park to see the beginning of the lilac season - so many different colours and the smell was amazing. This is a very pretty part of the country.

So, after 16 states we leave Rochester, New York state and head to Toronto, Ontario province and a new country.
