Today we headed for our "ultimate" destination for the US part of our trip - Niagara Falls - as this is the most northerly point of the Sates we will visit before heading to Canada later this week.

Once again, it's hard to believe we are actually seeing a place we have only ever seen on TV before and the power of the water is something you can not appreciate until you actually see and feel it. It is a very cold day, the coldest we have experienced during our time in the States but nothing compared to a winter's day in 1936 we saw photographs of when the Falls completely froze and people walked across the ice!
