Days 570-571, 3-4 Jan '16, A Suite Deal Indeed... We enjoyed a local hotel for a posh Christmas buffet lunch and found an excellent deal for a night's stay at the same time. Suffice to say there were a couple of issues during the stay that led to a chat with management and they were wonderful. So wonderful they offered us another one night stay with breakfast included. On Sunday we packed our toothbrushes and zoomed off to the hotel only to find that we were in their best suite for the night - their one and only Presidential Suite! Alright - sounds posher than it actually was - but we had a terrace bigger than most apartments, a living and dining room (room service for dinner!) and a massive bedroom with a soft bed and a jacuzzi bathroom. Woo hoo! We barely left the suite for the duration of our stay - just a sedate stroll down to breakfast on Monday morning where we found a upmarket seating area for Suite guests. Ahhh.... We took a few photos as our normal level of accommodation is from €25 upwards per night... not €530+.

It was very "sweet" indeed to see how the other half (other 1 percent?) live. Bring on Lotto!
