Days 561-562, 25-26 Dec '15, Our Maltese Christmas... We have no food allergies. We are both "foodies". Wherever in the world we are, we have little difficulty finding wonderful things to eat. It's just once a year that we hanker, crave and fancy something traditional - that's right - at Christmas. Once we knew we would be in Malta for Christmas, the hunt was on for a great buffet lunch in order to enjoy roast turkey on Christmas Day. It took a bit of research but we found the Marina Hotel in St Julian. Roast turkey, seafood, luscious pasta, roast beef and too much more to list. We made a point of having a light dinner the night before and just a cup of tea for breakfast and we really enjoyed our festive lunch accompanied by a bottle of Maltese bubbles. We found a great deal for a night at the same hotel and enjoyed the views of the full moon across St George's bay. We didn't bother with dinner (rare for us), so definitely enjoyed our Boxing Day breakfast buffet too. Yup. No food allergies here...
