Hay everyone. How are you all? Am actually starting to miss you all really bad :-( Being in San Diego with cool people has made it hit home how much I miss you all. Can you believe four weeks have passed already... how mad!!!! Just over half way.... Anyway LA... You know what??? Am sorry LA but I don't really rate this place. I think my 'Karma' :-) didn't want me here either. I had so much bad luck while I was here Day 1 - I completely forgot where I was staying and was stranded in the middle of LA for about 2hours. My mind just went blank Day 2 - I lost my phone...just nipped to the toilet put my phone down n walked out without it. Luckily someone handed it in :-) Phew.... Day 3 - I lost my sunglasses somewhere so been walking around being blinded by the sun because am being to cheap to buy a new pair :-) hehe And Day 4 - I was ready to leave...locked up all my bags...and locked the keys inside :-( so had to break into my bag and suitcase to find these little keys ITS JUST BEEN MENTAL....every day has been a new drama... Anyway...when things were going right....it was ok I guess :-) I went to Hollywood Boulevard where all the stars are on the sidewalks. That was really kewl. It wasn't how I expected it though. Not very glamorous at all... but it was good to be there. Seen Michael Jackson's star, Destiny's Childs all the good ones anyway. There was like 3,000 stars there. Went on for miles and miles..... I went to the Chinese theatre and the Kodak theatre where they have all the premiers and award ceremonies. That was really cool, where they have the foot and handprints outside. I held hands with Tom Hanks...kinda :-) Hehe I went on a celebrity tour of Hollywood and Bel-Air. That was really good. Actually really really good. I was like OHHHH ARHHHH Hehe. Like a right geek. Still not spotted anyone famous...but I guess sitting on their driveways is the next best thing (Although kinda stalker'ish) Hehe. We went to..... - Ozzy Osborne's house. - Jack Nicholson's house - Leonard DiCaprio's house - The biggest mansion in the world...its bigger than the Taj-Mahal. Hahaha. Think it was the spinning mansion??? - Fresh Prince of Bel-Airs house...Sorry mansion...its well tiny though!!! - Britney Spears mansion - Lyndsay Lohans Place - Michael Jackson's old school - Where Hugh Grant got busted :-) - Where Sister Act 1&2 were filmed (the best bit) - Petty Women I went to Rodeo drive. That was really good...that's how I imagined LA to be....very classy!!! I bet everyone was like who is that 'chav' Hehe. I was there happy snapping :-) That was defo one of the good bits... Oh yeah and I seen the Hollywood sign...that was cool!!!!! My hostel was ok...was staying with some really weird people though. It was only $10 a night so didn't complain to much :-) Oh and a word of advise...if anyone's planning on going to LA...rent a car!!!!!!! The buses are a nightmare... you can only go to one place a day because it takes half a day to get there :-( am not kidding either. The city is 75miles by 50 and there's traffic everywhere.....it got VERY frustrating.... Lots of other bits n bobs as well...but you know my memory.....I've forgot :-) One word to best describe LA would be 'MIXED' one minute would be good n the other I was like 'get me out of here' Hehe Overall LA was a good place to say you've been but I wouldn't really go back there...its not as glamorous as its made out to be.... I've decided am just going to take every place as it comes...try not to listen to much about what I've heard about the place and just decide when I get there....that way I wont be disappointed....
