Hey there,

Sam here, responsible for writing about yesterday...We didn't do that much so I've got an easy job. We went shopping in the morning but were really good and resisted all nice Billabong shorts n bikinis. While we were out shopping it rained so we hung around waiting for it to stop before heading to the lagoon. We had tried to find a ferry terminal to Green Island too but it wasn't very successful. It didn't really seem encouraging to passengers and otherwise we could only find tours to this reef island. We'll save our island hopping for the Whitsundays. And th eother islands that we hit before them.

The lagoon was lovely though, did some swimming (about 3 strokes each) and some reading. Amy created a game called push off from the side and float but apparently I kept doing it wrong (it wasn't a very good game). And I kept winning.

Following our swim we had a shower by the pool (cold) but I'm not complaining as it's a free swimming pool! Next we went for dinner at a funky restaurant called the Hog's Breath Cafe/. Not the nicest named place in the world but the food was delicious. Really big portions and really tasty. We resisted the mud pie for dessert and decided to treat ourselves to a little icecream instead. When we emerged with two huge scoops each we felt somewhat greedy but it was only 50cents more for a 2nd scoop. Yum yum though!

We got back to our diggs just before the rain started, glad we made it! it tipped it down!! We're just having a lazy day today n getting the bus tomorrow. Gotta be on't bus at 7am so early early start. Yey!
