Hey Guys,

Afraid this is only going to be very quick, internet is very expensive and we've just spent ages making sure we've got enough money in our accounts and now I've only got 12 minutes to type this. We had an awesome time at Fraser Island but we're going to cover that another day when we have enough time to do it justice.

So....we left Hervey Bay last thurs. Spent the day doing some shopping as the bus wasn't until late. Went in a shop called 'Sam's Warehoue' which I loved but Sam hated cos it was like Macro. It rained all day so we strolled round looking very much like a bumble bee (Sam in her black pac a mac and me in my yellow one - we look so hot!!!). Arrived in Rainbow Beach quite late and to say it was very deserted is an understatement. Its a very small place. 3 hostels, a couple of shops and a few cafes and that's it. We spent the fri chilling out and doing boring stuff like booking buses and hostels as the weather was rubbish. Went down to the beach in the rain and had a bit of a paddle, you had to be very careful on the beach as you can drive on it!!! In the evening we had to watch some videos about Fraser Island and then we got put in our groups and had to fill in loads of paperwork before all going shopping to buy the food for the weekend. Had a couple of drinks in the bar (they served cider) and played pool and table tennis cos it was free. We decided it was best to get an early night beacuse of the weekend ahead.

- Getting stuck in the Sand and having to push the 4x4 out
- Me (Amy) driving at 50kph down a corrugated road (imagine a piece of corrugated metal and thats what it was like)
