Our last entry before the 'journey' incredibly I think we are organised - which must be a first! Less than 4 weeks to go- the British Weather giving us a taste of the Amazon. Warm and wet. Not too sticky. Like good Brits we are braving it anyway.

InCumbria for training long weekend. Cycling, climbing, walking and chilling. It feels like a holiday in itself. The weather is just perfect- though very British (cool but bright). I seem to be feeling more excited with each passing day. We really need to write a packing list as the looming sense of forgetting a vital piece of kit is slightly unsettling.

Not the true start to the journey as lots of planning has been excitedly done. There are still 2 months to go till we actually leave. So many things to finalise. But having reviewed Peter and Sheila's fantastic photos the Galapagos seems a lot closer
