Schipol Airport, Netherlands

Waiting for our plane home. Over a dozen previous flights on the departure board to the UK have been canceled because of poor weather. Having been on the go since 7:30 yesterday morning it'll be a relief to get home. Amsterdam seemed so organised from the air. The roads weren't clogged with crazy drivers and tuck tucks!

Here at the base of Manchu pichu, we have a had a fab relax and soak in hot tub, about to go on a tea exploration walk. Then off to get two GCs (of course)

Claire, Richard, J&F Lovely to catch up on your news and travels-somehow the notifications haven't been coming through despite us subscribing so we had a bit to catch up on just now!! Weather is amazing here, despite having to work, we are still enjoying it - the warm nights help! Boys had the inflatable boat on river at weekend-enjoyed following the route you all took last year. Off to Liverpool Thurs then up to games on Saturday-whoop. Enjoy the rest of it!. xxxx

thegcgills We are well and sweltering in the heat. Kids pining after cool Britain. Sometimes missing the simple things like milk and running the tap to get drinking water. On the amazon house boat the shower water and hand basin water was pure amazon. So you never felt clean. Just had a shower in hotel room. Pure bliss. We hope the weather in England treats you all well and you are enjoying the summer. C,M,O & R

Margaret Turner 3 days ago I did not get the loom bands joke. Then there was an article about them on BBC Breakfastand on Thursday (yesterday) I was researching the Hucknall Car Boot for fund raising for Colliers Wood. There was a stall selling only loops and looms. Love Mum

Claire, Richard, J & F Hope you are all having a great time. Enjoyed what we've seen so far on your blog! Just finished an 'early night' with the Chambers-hey it's only 12.05-doing well considering a bike ride to Kings Meaburn Pub for pie and pint before arriving home for wine in front of chiminea.....this is summer; hope weather is good with you too. xxx
