Well today we positively pampered ourselves... in away. We started the day by stopping in at our local barber and getting a shave with a straight razor. I think it was a very worthwhile experience and I have been amazed all day at the closness of the shave and the softness of my skin. Alex also seems to have liked it and thought similar things about it.
We then went out to thedosian's wall and the fort on it near the sea of marmara. The gort seemed fairly unrestored. There were no safety devices and most of the stairs were crumbling so I was terrified... but I know I should not have been
...... its beem standing for almost 1000 years what's the chance that it will break at this exact moment. Anyway after the fort we walked along the associated wall for a while through an average nieghborhood and then to a restored section of the wall. The restored section 2as slightly safer yet the number of broken and empty liquor bottles and smell led me to believe that homeless currently call it home.
After that we walked back to the train station and came back to town... we finished our shopping and stopped by the hotel ro gather our things to take ina turkish bath. We went to centague baths. We were always dealt with rather roughly but it was good. Alex realky liked the guy cracking his back in two ways and neck in one. After the experience we wander the streets for a couple hours and had some supper hung out by the haia Sofia and are probably calling it and early night.
