So all you haters on my typing need to back off. I am still getting used to typing on my samsung touch screen.... additionally the blogging app would not let me see what I was typing.
Me and Alex both slept well last night I fell asleep fairly hard fairly quickly but came awake very early. I had a second colourfull run in with our hotelier. He asked me how i was at breakfast and he returned the answer with a very long version of the only time I sm not here im sick, im here, therefore im not sick, therefore im healthy ajd everything must be just fine.
The breakfast was als8 amazing great quality breads and meats and boiled egg and yogurt. So after alex got up and got fed we took of to our long day of standing. We went first to free standing room at mass at the palace chapel. The vienna boys choir sung for the mass. I really liked how their voices seemed to float down from the third story balcony they sing from. They also did a song at the end on the alter. Alex thought there must have been more of them. There were also a half dozen or so indian women forced their way to the front of the standing room. The whole time telling other people "dont push your in church."
Then we took to our standing room seats at the spanish riding school. It was interesting. The horses doing jumps and balancing on their hind legs with riders on their backs was pretty cool.
Then we went to the imperial apartments. They were interesting and the audio guide was pretty good but I think I was just getting palaced out. The appartkents were franz josephs.
Then we eent for another cafe for lunch a coffee and a cake. All of which was excellent.
Then it was off to st stephendom cathedral. Where I stood on a grate at tye top of the highestvbell tower... pretty impressive. There was also a little fair going on around the outside of the church... there were a cou9le of interesting merry go rounds... one bike powered... one just quaint. We also ran acrossed a harp playing busker singing a verdionnof hallejiuh that rufus wainwright also does... it wasbvery cool.
Then we had an hour tomblow so we walked around and checked out some stores... then down to the opera house where we got €3 standing room tickets to see carmen performed... I knew a few of the melodies actually... it was gokd but we could onky see half the stage but given regular tickets are more then 40... it was pretty good.... but my feet needed to get home... it took us a while but we also found take out chinese and brought a big bagbof take out and chiwed down.l. it was a much need supper at 11pm.
Anyway, I think that is it for now it is rapidly approaching midnight and I need some sleep... wevare off to the summer place int the morning.

Kent I am guessing you are referring to me as the typing hater! Ha! Sometime you have to make enemies to make significant change in the world!
cub Hey Jon! Your trip sounds like it is off to a well-cultured start! It sounds like you have seen more in one day than many people see in a week! The choir must have been magnificient - I have a tradition of listening to the Vienna boys choir every Christmas. I hope you get plenty of time to relax on your adventure too! Keep blogging! :)
