So today we got up and drove to Córdoba. We saw the Mezquita. It is a huge old mosque that has a catholic cathedral built in the middle of it. It was very cool to see.

We then went to the train station. We returned the car and had a long lingering lunch before hopping the high speed train to Madrid.

Upon arrival we checked into our Airbnb. And went to plaza mayor where we had bocadillo calamares (squid sandwiches) and churros en chocolate. Given that both are famous in Madrid they were a little disappointing but they hit the spot. Now we are getting ready for bed.
