Hey everyone
Today was our final day in Queenstown.
Surprisingly we didn't do much today, and after a lie-in and the biggest breakfast ever, we put on our winter warmers and headed outside. It seem to be getting warmer, as it showed 6oC on the thermometer outside the Crowne Plaza and we hadn't seen it above 4oC for days. We had a look around the shops, continuing to souvenir shop.
Lunchtime came and we thought we would treat ourselves to a Fergburger, as everyone had been telling us how amazing they were. We bought one called 'Tropical Swine' and Christina, thinking ahead, asked if it could be cut in half as we had heard they were huge, so we thought we would share one. Christina was glad we did as it was the size of a small dinner plate, with bacon, beef, pineapple and loads of salad, and it tasted amazing. We both wanted another one but as we couldn't move after only half of one so we thought we would leave it for now.
We looked around the town some more trying to walk off the huge lunch, before heading back to the hostel. After dinner we repacked our bags - it's surprising how messy the room could get with only two backpacks of clothes. We went to bed early knowing we had an early start getting the bus to our last stop in New Zealand, Christchurch. Xxx
