So we begin our journey out of Italy- little did we know how difficult it was going to be! From Pisa we took a train to Milano- where we briefly stepped outside the station to make it official! Once in Milano we were directed to take a train to Chiasso where we could then take a train to Munich! Of course, this train doesn't run to Munich. First we have to go to Zurich! Before leaving Italy, we knew it was a must to see the infamous Leaning Tower of Pisa! So, we hopped a train and headed north! Today we roamed about in Florence! We stayed a cute little hostel owned by an older woman and her sister. She was so welcoming and helpful- a true hostess! Rome may not have been built in one day, but we definitely saw it all in one! After hopping on the train we arrived in Vatican City! All of the artwork was amazing including the Sistine Chapel! Then we visited The Coliseum! The ruins were unbelievable as was the experience! We sat there trying to imagine what it must have been like in old Rome, watching the gladiators fight for the lives.
