Rome may not have been built in one day, but we definitely saw it all in one! After hopping on the train we arrived in Vatican City! All of the artwork was amazing including the Sistine Chapel! Then we visited The Coliseum! The ruins were unbelievable as was the experience! We sat there trying to imagine what it must have been like in old Rome, watching the gladiators fight for the lives. We had pasta, we had gelatto, then it was off to Florence! The train ride...

So walking around, Rome was pretty much liked I'd expect. Busy streets, pizza, gelato! And let's not forget the amazing architecture! I can only imagine what ancient Rome must have been like- minus the scooters. Every building is unique and brings something special to the city. It is amazing how much history can be seen during a casual stroll through downtown. Well off, to try some gelato!

Get lost in Rome... Check! Getting from the airport to a hostel was definitely an experience! From the chaotic airport, to the even more chaotic bus station, to the crazy bus ride, to finding wifi!, to finding a hostel, to getting lost in downtown Rome, to finding a taxi to rescue me, to eventually arriving at the most charming, unique hostel ever!
