The travels of Karyn and Robert
Today's port visit was cancelled to high winds and high seas. This was to be a tender port, 2 metre waves, gale force winds and old americans don't mix, so it was a bonus sea day. the crew quickly organised extra activities to keep this small town happy. We kept ourselves busy in the thermal spa, resting and reading. Robert enjoyed watching the relays of the Soccer and we watched the start of the Tdf in local time. It was formal night, so we decided to dress up - the first formal night we missed due to jet lag. Spent the evening chatting to a retired Dutch couple, who enjoy doing their own excursions, TripAdvisor may be their next research tool. It is just past midnight and the Netherlands are playing Costa Rica, there is a large room of orange yelling at the screen, with one family cheering for Costa Rica. Still nil all, will find out tomorrow who won by the happy or unhappy Dutch guests. As it is a Dutch company their win is expected. Good night, tomorrow is the port of Kusadasi, we are sharing our private tour with the two priest we met, Father James and Father Boris.
