This morning we were not locked in, so after a hearty breakfast that consisted of fruit, eggs, meat, pancakes, yoghurt and oatcakes we were on our way. First stop was a Loch Ness gift shop to kill a few minutes before the Urquhart Castle. The castle was right in the middle of Lochness. So after being released from confinement at finavon castle, we went and took in dunatar castle. It is a big beautiful ruined castle on the top of a promontory with cliffs on all sides. It was wonderful. We then went to drum castle. It looked like a castle but only the tower portion of the castle was old and defensive. The rest was test was a 17th century mansion. So to day has not started great. We are currently locked in the castle awaiting rescue. The land lady locked the door when she left this morning before we are up. We are now awaiting rescue by one of her friends.

After the first post of the day we drove to finavon. Where we are staying the night in the castle. Pamela's friend from summerside came and picked us up and we had a wonderful supper. Now we are back at the castle relaxing a bit.

So we had another great day in Edinburgh. We headed out early and got free on street parking vaguely near the castle. We then walked up to Edinburgh castle. With a stop at Starbucks to allow the castle to open and for a pee break. The castle was great. We saw lots of different parts. We started by seeing the Crown Jewels and royal apartments.
