After our Greek Wedding, it was up reasonably early (for holidays) to catch the minivan to Akrotiri - an archeological site that's currently being excavated. 4000 years ago, this city was buried under volcanic ash after the largest eruption in the last 10,000 years. A super lazy day spent by the plunge pool with both breakfast & lunch made here. So lovely. At 8:30pm, we caught a taxi to Thira for the White Door Theatre, a Greek wedding theatre restaurant. The ferry trip was reasonable, a few swells that made people's crockery slide around, but not too bad. I still didn't like it much. Arrived at 'The Hollywood of Greece' as the Greeks call Santorini.
