I wasn't sure how excited i would be about Machu Picchu after the trek, i know its meant to be the goal, but i had such an amazing time on the trek and the camping and we had seen Pisac and Ollantaytambo ruins so i wasn't sure how blown away i would be. We were up at 5 to get an early start, we knew it was going to be 9 hours of walking, but the day before had been fantastic and other the headache i hadn't found the altitude bad at all. We began a gradual climb uphill from the valley. The Scenery was amazing with the andean locals huts and Lamas and Alpacas wandering along side.
