20 - 24 Aug 2008 We stayed at the Phoenix hotel, a hyper trendy motel turned rock star hang out in the Tenderloin district. We took in the sights which included Coit Tower, Union square, China Town, the De Young museum and the Golden Gate Bridge. We arrived in LA and checked into the Gershwin on Hollywood Boulevard. The guy at reception was quite distressed as he informed us that he had to write up his first death report. Brilliant!
