We arrived in Melbourne to complete the second leg of our Australian journey. What a fantastic city, it has such a cool vibe. We finally got to use our northface jackets for the first time in Christchurch. The difference in temperature is very noticeable compared to Australia. This is a quaint little town with lots of cultural activities. We visited a few art galleries and saw some spectacular views of Lyttleton Bay and Christchurch via a gondola ride. Our Oz Adventure began in Sydney. We experienced the NYE fireworks display from the Botanical Gardens one of the best vantage points in Sydney, overlooking the Opera House and the bridge and right in front of the pyrotechnics display.
