Day 26
Today we left the Bungle Bungles pretty early - for a change we were up and dressed and breakfast early and relatively easily.
We stopped 60kms up the road at Turkey Creek to fuel up and air up our tyres. And also for a snack :).
Then it was an easy 2 hour drive onto Kununarra where we arrived about 11.30am.
Andy went straight up town looking for 2 new tyres while the girls and I had lunch and set up camp and caught up on some washing.
The caravan park had a pool so we had a few swims. It was a scorching hot day with not a breath of breeze.
Got the new tyres fitted and then I went up town for a look around and some groceries. Tried my luck at the Jewellery shops for that pink diamond. Was praying for a bargain but no such luck - they are just so expensive. Did see a lovely ring for...... Wait for it .......$65,000 - had no luck convincing Andy haha.
We were so exhausted that Andy went to bed with the girls and I was in bed by 8pm but it was soooo hot we all just sweated all night and both Andy and I had a terrible nights sleep.
